MARRAKECH

01

In January 2017, my family and I flew to Marrakech, Morocco. The experience was nostalgic, as it reminded me of my previous trips to Syria as a child. Walking through the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa, your senses are awakened in all aspects. The smells of spices and street food, the rich colours of fabrics and dazzling sequin hanging baskets, the constant flow of bodies, bikes, horses, carts, monkeys, snake charmers, not forgetting the street sellers. The experience was positively overwhelming!

We spent our days exploring attractions, such as the beautiful and unforgettable Majorelle Gardens, never have I experienced such tranquillity.

Soaking up the history and breathtaking architecture of the Bahia Palace, the El Badi Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Bab Agnaou, not to mention the markets.

I highly recommend Marrakech for that unique holiday where your senses will never tire!
